Hello

Hey everyone. Here's my take on Creative Scrapper's sketch #306 and the recipe challenge at The Studio Challenges. I used pattern paper and collectables from Kaiser Craft's 'Indigo Skies' collection. What a beautiful line!! I absolutely love all the blue tones. For the recipe challenge, you were to use as many items on the list as possible. I used the following:

Paint: gesso (hope this counts)
Hand sewing: X's along the edge
Fussy cutting: flower cluster and butterfly
A frame: Navy frame around layout
Buttons

I did not use any pink. Below are some close ups and the sketch. If you are looking for any inspiration, be sure to check out both of these blogs. Thanks for stopping by.

Love You

Hey everyone. Here's a layout I created for Stuck?!Sketches May 15th sketch and the color palette challenge at The Studio Challenges. The color palette was pink, orange, yellow, beige and green. I also added blue. The pattern paper, ephemera, flair and chipboard stickers were all from Cocoa Vanilla Studio's 'Wild at Heart' collection. This line is SO pretty!! Below are some close ups, the challenge and the sketch. Thanks for stopping by.

Be Different

Hey everyone. Here's my take on Stuck?!Sketches May 1st sketch, as well as the May challenge at Clique Kits. I used pattern paper and embellishments from the February Bee You kit from Clique Kits. The challenge for May was to use gold on your layout. Using Heidi Swapp's gold color shine, I splattered some spray around the page. Using the straw end from the nozzle, I also colored the inside of the flowers. I must say baby Finn makes quite the cute subject!!! Below are some close ups and the sketch. Thanks for stopping by.

Happy Mothers Day

Hey everyone. Happy Belated Mother's Day!!! Here's my take on Scrap Our Stash's May sketch and word challenge. When I saw the sketch and the word chosen for the challenge I decided to scrap photos of my daughter's first Mother's Day. To say we are thrilled with the new addition is an understatement!! For the word challenge I used the following:

M: metal (brads)
O: orange
T: Tim Holtz (distress inks)
H: hearts, Heidi Swapp (color shine)
E: enamel dots
R: Recollections (cardstock)

I used Simple Stories 'Posh' collection for this layout. The hearts and flowers were fussy cut from pattern paper.

Explore

Hey everyone. Time for another reveal at Scrap Our Stash. This one is for the May Tic Tac Toe Challenge. The photos are of my niece and her boyfriend exploring in Cavendish, PEI. All papers, diecuts, buttons and stickers were from Bobunny's 'Take a Hike' collection. I decided to change things up a bit , so instead of using watercolors on the background, I applied Bobunny glitter paste through one of their stickable stencils. Love how it turned out!!! For the challenge I followed the vertical column on the right: tab, paperclip and feather. Below are some close ups and the challenge. Make sure to check out the SOS blog for lots of inspiration. Thanks for stopping by.
